In collaboration with Art Space Dubai, the CEO and Founder of Swiss luxury brand William Wagner Geneva, Ramzi Charaf-Wagner proudly hosted the global launch of his new brand consisting of bespoke time keepers and instruments of writing at Art Space Dubai last night. The event was attended by an elite crowd of art lovers, friends and acquaintances who attended the event from different parts of the world.

The luxury collection showcases beautiful customized time keepers and instruments of writing crafted by William Wagner Geneva in collaboration with a number of independent and renowned artists from around the globe.

The CEO and Founder of William Wagner Geneva explained the process and individual touch that goes into each product designed by this luxury brand: "We design each client’s distinctive piece with his or her personal input. A rendering is then produced to allow the client to visualize the finished product before commissioning us to create the real piece, which can take several weeks or months. While in the process of creation, we will keep the customer regularly updated with images of the item, and when it is complete we will come to the location of the customer’s choice to deliver the bespoke luxury piece of art".

All the artists featured have been selected by Ramzi Charaf-Wagner owing to his personal love of their craftsmanship. One such artist is Jean Kazes, his signature clocks can be seen at the headquarters of Cartier, Chopard, Patek Phillippe and Unilever. Kazes has created an exclusive pendulum for the William Wagner Geneva range that are on display at the Art Space Dubai.

Another artistic genius contributing to the collection is Grayson Tighe who at the young age of 18 years made his mark as the youngest professional pen designer in the world. Tighe who has created a limited edition for Blancpain, will now work closely with William Wagner Geneva to create exclusive limited edition fountain pens for each customer.

Also adding to the brand is Phil Abernethy who became a journeyman clockmaker in 1988. Phil has pursued sculptural clock making, creating machines based on historic and obscure devices spread over the history of the craft. Phil has created a bespoke Table Clock for the William Wagner Geneva range that is on display at Art Space Dubai.

Managing Director of Art Space Dubai, Maliha Al Tabari said that she “is delighted to welcome the bespoke luxury brand William Wagner Geneva as the sponsor of the art gallery located at the Dubai International Financial Centre for the next 12 months, where the collection will be displayed for the next one year.”

William Wagner, born in 1709 was a trained Watchmaker who moved to the city of Geneva, the world's most vibrant watch making city. Mr. Wagner carved a long and distinguished career in Geneva working as a craftsman for large watch making companies. Today his grandchild, Ramzi Charaf-Wagner, has revived his grandfather’s hardworking spirit through the creation of luxury brand William Wagner Geneva. The corporate identity of the brand includes the family crest which represents a wheel indicating that at the origin a Wagner was a wheel-maker.
